Holding a passion for photography since childhood, Lacey has captured thousands of sunrises and sunsets - along with many other surprises along the way. Suffering from Syringomyelia, a rare spinal cord disease, in addition to epilepsy (among others), hasn’t stopped her from living life to the fullest and appreciating every moment. Taking it in stride, she’s adopted the nickname the “Poetic Epileptic”, which becomes abundantly applicable when reading her vast collection of ekphrastic poetry that she has written over the years to accompany her photography.

She lives in South Louisiana with her daughter Willa, and is a retired Certified Pharmacy Technician. She still does some wildlife photography, depending what flies or swims by. Her backyard is a bayou, so you never know!
